Most Successful Neutering Campaign

30 October 2018

2018 is the most successful neutering campaign ever by Cats Protection Canterbury

Our 2018 neutering voucher campaign has been the most successful ever for Cats Protection Canterbury with 102 vouchers for neutering being issued, a big thank you for all who helped promote this and all who took up the offer.
57 vouchers were issued for female cats which has potentially stopped 10,260 kittens from being born to these mothers in their lifetimes*. In addition we have issued vouchers for 45 male cats which is a lot more potential kittens from these feisty toms (ex toms)!

A big thank you with everyone who helped make this our most successful year ever the vets for participating and advertising the campaign and a big thank you to you for spreading the word and making this such a big success.
The campaign has now ended but if you have a cat that needs neutering and if you are on benefits/low income, we can help with vouchers to reduce the cost of this call 01227 266838 or 07871998689 and our neutering officer Anne will be happy to help you.

*Your female cat can give birth to three litters of kittens per year, with an average of four kittens per litter, in an average lifetime of 15 years for cat. This could result in up to 180 kittens in her lifetime.
